45“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. 46When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it.
Pearls unlike other precious minerals and rare gems are drawn from life in humble organic origins and spiritually symbolize wisdom earned through pain, polishing, secretion, refining and experiencing of the self to soul’s transformation. Appearing awkward on the outside, oysters are like followers of Christ and the church who have hidden in them glorious power of the Gospel and act as living treasure troves and pearls of spiritual wisdom deep inside
31 He told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field.
32 Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches.”
44“The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.
24 Jesus told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field.
25 But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away.
26 When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.
27 “The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’
28“ ‘An enemy did this,’ he replied. “The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’
29 “ ‘No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them.
30 Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’ ”
We are all sown as seeds with the Word of Jesus. Christ is the good farmer in the parable, and the field represents the world.
The good seeds are the people of the Kingdom of Heaven. The weeds are people of the Evil One.
And angels are symbolized by the harvesters, just as Jesus explains exclusively as the crowds are exiting away, to his disciples, for those who and are receptive to His Word, who have ears to hear, listen, and understand:
You are my strength when I am weak You are the treasure that I seek You are my all in all
Seeking You as a precious jewel Lord to give up I’d be a fool You are my all in all
Jesus Lamb of God worthy is Your name Jesus Lamb of God worthy is Your name
Taking my sin my cross my shame Rising again I bless your name You are my all in all When I fall down you pick me up When I am dry You fill my cup You are my all in all
Jesus Lamb of God worthy is Your name Jesus Lamb of God worthy is Your name
Jesus Lamb of God worthy is Your name Jesus Lamb of God worthy is Your name
Jesus Lamb of God worthy is Your name Jesus Lamb of God worthy is Your name Worthy is Your name Worthy is Your name
22 The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful.
23 But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.”
