Blessings: May Grace & Peace be Multiplied to You in the Knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord
Greetings from Peter
1 Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ,
To those who through the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ have received a faith as precious as ours:
2 Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.
Confirming One’s Calling and Election
3 His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.2 Corinthians 9:6
Everything is Yours! You Belong to Christ. Christ Belongs to God. (Don’t Boast in men)
21 So don’t boast about following a particular human leader. For everything belongs to you— 22 whether Paul or Apollos or Peter,[a] or the world, or life and death, or the present and the future. Everything belongs to you, 23 and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.
Abounding in All Grace in All Things at All Times
8 And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.
9 However, as it is written:
“What no eye has seen,1st Corinthians 2:9, Isaiah 64:4
what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived”[b]—
the things God has prepared for those who love him—
God’s Greatness Defeats Greed!
God’s Precious Promises Overcomes Our Covetousness!
God Promises Us To Become Partakers Of His Divine Nature!
2 Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.Apostle Peter, 1st Peter 1:2
