The Lord’s Sanctuary Requires Righteousness: Love of Jesus’s Justice, not Money

Psalm 15

A psalm of David.

Lord, who may dwell in your sacred tent?
Who may live on your holy mountain?

The one whose walk is blameless,
    who does what is righteous,
    who speaks the truth from their heart;
whose tongue utters no slander,
    who does no wrong to a neighbor,
    and casts no slur on others;
who despises a vile person
    but honors those who fear the Lord;
who keeps an oath even when it hurts,
    and does not change their mind;
who lends money to the poor without interest;
    who does not accept a bribe against the innocent.

Whoever does these things will never be shaken.

Psalm 15:1-5

God promises only those who honor the Lord will dwell in His Holy Presence.
Honor includes the interest of the innocent, mercy to the poor, and the name sake of Jesus’s justice, the love of righteousness and not of money.

Paul’s Prayer for Power Ephesians 3 #1

Lord Jesus, please help us receive wisdom by Your Name and allow the Holy Spirit to enter into us while we attempt to understand and remember Paul’s prayer to the Ephesians and the revelation of the mystery of Christ:

14 For this cause, I bow my knees unto the Father our Lord Jesus Christ,
15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
16 That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man;
17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that [you] being rooted in love,
18 May be able to comprehend with the Saints what is the breadth, the length, and depth, and height;
19 And to know the love of Christ, which [surpasses] knowledge, that [you] may be filled with all the fulness of God.

Ephesians 3:14-19
